The Local Government Economic Assistance and County Road Aid Hearing was held on the 14th day of May, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Members present at the meeting were:
Others present at the meeting were County Treasurer Mary Conley, Fiscal Court Clerk Jeanine Sanders, and County Engineer Duane Campbell.
There were no public comments received before 9:00 a.m. on May 14, 2019.
Judge Hunt began the meeting and instructed County Engineer Duane Campbell to address the Court. Engineer Campbell reported there is a carryover of $44,154.96. Treasurer Conley reported the Court received $11,000 from Caldwell Stone for mineral tax.
Engineer Campbell informed the Court the 2018/2019 Flex Funds will be spent to resurface Winterhawk and almost a mile on southern Gose Pike this Spring. Magistrate Sammons made a motion to use the remaining LGEA funds to complete the funding to resurface White’s Ridge and southern Gose Pike, seconded by Magistrate Ellis. There was no discussion. All members voted in favor.
The Court acknowledged the 2020/2021 County Road Aid agreement has been passed previously by the Court and what those funds were typically used for in the Public Works budget.
With no further business, Magistrate Sammons made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Magistrate Gay. All members voted in favor. Meeting adjourned at 9:41.
